The SG-38 Schulgleiter was a German school glider designed in the late 1930s . It was widely used by the Luftwaffe and other European air forces for basic pilot training. After World War II, many of these machines were captured and modified for civilian and military use.
The British version, the EoN Eton TX.1, was developed by Elliotts of Newbury (EoN) as an upgraded variant of the SG-38. It served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a basic trainer glider and was used until the 1950s.
The package includes precision moulded plastic parts to allow assembly of both variants, with detailed tubular fuselage construction.
