Special Hobby's 1/32 scale Heinkel He 100D-1 "Propaganda Jäger He 113" captures an advanced German fighter aircraft that had the potential to become one of the fastest fighters of its time. Designed as an answer to the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the He 100 featured a revolutionary liquid cooling system integrated into the wing surface, reducing aerodynamic drag and allowing for higher speeds.

Although several He 100 prototypes achieved exceptional performance, including breaking the world speed record, the Luftwaffe eventually decided to standardize production of the Bf 109, leading to the termination of the He 100 program. Instead of actual operational service, the aircraft was used in German propaganda under the false designation "He 113"to confuse Allied intelligence and give the impression that the Luftwaffe had more advanced fighters than it actually did.
