Plastikový model letadla 1/32 Fiat G.50bis Luftwaffe and Croatian AF
Fiat G.50bis Luftwaffe and Croatian AF in 1/32 scale by Special Hobby is an improved version of the Italian fighter aircraft that used during World War II not only by the Italian Air Force, but also by the Luftwaffe and Croatian Air Force. The G.50bis was reliable and agile, but its weaker armament and performance gradually overshadowed more modern machines. The model features detailed fuselage, cockpit and landing gear. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
Fiat G.50bis Luftwaffe and Croatian AF in 1/32 scale by Special Hobby depicts a more advanced variant of the first mass-produced Italian single-plane fighter aircraft. The Fiat G.50 proved reliable and agile, but its armament of only two 12.7mm machine guns and weaker engine power made it less effective against Allied aircraft.
The G.50bis variant was developed with extended range and improved aerodynamics. After the surrender of Italy in 1943, some of the captured aircraft were assigned to the Luftwaffe, where they served mainly for training purposes. The Croatian Air Force, an ally of Nazi Germany, also received several of these aircraft, which were deployed against partisan forces and Soviet forces on the Eastern Front.
The 1/32 scale model features detailed cockpit, engine and landing gear detail, faithfully capturing this lesser-known chapter of WWII aviation history. An ideal choice for modellers focusing on Axis aircraft and lesser known combat deployments.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
