Luftfahrtverlag: Emblems of the Luftwaffe Band-1

Luftfahrtverlag: Emblems of the Luftwaffe Band-1 ISBN: 978-3-941437-30-2

In co-operation with Peter Petrick, Gerhard Stemmer and Ulf Balke, we are beginning to publish the most comprehensive work on the emblems of the flying units of the Luftwaffe with this Volume 1. The research for this work has taken almost 20 years. Since the books by Karl Ries, which appeared in the 1960s and 1970s, no other publication has dealt with this subject in greater depth and incorporated all the new findings. Each volume will contain several hundred largely unpublished black and white and colour photos, side views and detailed information on the emblems. In addition, the emblems will be shown in large graphics. The volumes also contain many unit emblems that have never been published or assigned before and variants of the unit insignia. The book series will therefore be an important Luftwaffe book for modellers and those interested in history. Volume 1 deals with the "Close and long-range reconnaissance units" and the "Weather reconnaissance squadrons".

Authors: Axel Urbanke, Petr Petrick, Gerhard Stemmer,Ulf Balke
