1/72 US Navy F-14A VF-41 "Black Aces" /w special PE & Decal

This is a jet aircraft kit made by injection moulding.

The kit offers a lot of possibilities! Includes a drawing of the nose used during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 when this aircraft hosted the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. This F-14A is equipped with a TV camera on the nose pod and also carries an ECM antenna on the wing glove and rear beaver tail. Its distinctive changeable wings can be put in either the forward or aft position; the leading edges and flaps can be lowered and the spoiler raised. The landing gear can be erected retracted or extended and the radome, boarding steps, entry ramp and air brake can be opened or closed. The refuelling probe can also be extended or stowed. Two types of belly fins are included, with the rear tow bar either lowered or raised. Weapons include the AIM-54 Phoenix (x4), AIM-7 Sparrow (x2), AIM-9 Sidewinder (x2) and two additional tanks.

Unassembled and unpainted plastic model. To successfully complete this kit you will need to purchase paints, plastic model glue, thinner, brushes which are not included.
