1/72 SIAI SF-260W „Over Africa“

The SIAI SF-260W "Over Africa" kit in 1/72 scale by Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) offers precise processing of the Italian SIAI-Marchetti SF.260, which was designed in the 1960s as a trainer and aerobatic aircraft with military applications. The SF-260W Warrior version was developed as an armed variant for light attack missions and has been widely exported to various African countries.

This particular edition allows modelers to build the aircraft in four different markings:

1. Libyan Air Force (Air Force Of The Libyan Arab Jamahiriya), Machine 545: Libya operated the SF-260W for training and light attack operations.

2. Mauritanian Air Force (Force Aérienne de la République Islamique de Mauritanie), machine 5T-MAL: Mauritania used these aircraft for patrol and training purposes.

3. Tunisian Air Force (Armée de l'Air Tunisienne), TS-TBR / W41 505: Tunisia deployed the SF-260W for basic pilot training and light combat missions.

4. Air Force of Zimbabwe, machine 625: Zimbabwe used these aircraft for training and support of ground troops.
