The Sd.Kfz. 234/2 "Puma" was a German eight-wheeled armoured reconnaissance vehicle produced between 1943 and 1944 and deployed on all fronts of World War II. It was the best-armed version of the Sd.Kfz. 234 series, equipped with a powerful 50 mm KwK 39 gun mounted in a swivel turret. The vehicle was powered by an air-cooled Tatra diesel engine and achieved high speed and mobility both on the road and in the field. The Puma was popular with crews for its speed, good optical equipment and ability to retreat quickly - it had two driving positions, front and rear.
