The 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the Meteor Mk.4 represents the first post-war variant of this famous fighter, which became a frontline aircraft for the RAF, the Belgian Air Force, and the Royal Netherlands Air Force. This model includes two sprues of plastic parts, a sprue of clear parts, and a large decal sheet, offering four different camouflage schemes.
Three of these schemes belong to RAF aircraft, with two having notable histories connected to Czechoslovakia. Pilots Miroslav Miro Liškutín and Charles Eagan Lamberton / Karel Lechner were twice Czechoslovak émigrés, who first fled Czechoslovakia to fight against Nazism and later were forced to flee again due to the communist regime.
The fourth scheme is for a Dutch Air Force aircraft. This detailed model not only provides historically significant aircraft but also features powerful stories linked to the selected camouflage schemes. For the best results, we recommend visiting the 'paints and tools' category to acquire the necessary materials, as glue and paints are not included in the package.
