The Fouga CM.170 Magister was one of the world's first jet trainer aircraft, which saw widespread deployment in many countries. Developed in France in the 1950s, it featured a distinctive V-shaped tail and excellent flight characteristics suitable for jet pilot training.
The Israeli Air Force purchased several dozen machines and later upgraded them to the IAI Tzukit version, which differed in instrumentation, armament and ability to perform light combat tasks. The Tzukit aircraft were deployed during the Middle East conflicts, among others.
The Special Hobby 1/72 Fouga CM.170 Magister / IAI Tzukit offers precision machined plastic parts, a realistic cockpit for a crew of two, landing gear and a choice of armament. The kit includes decals for both French and Israeli machines, allowing you to build both a classic training version and a combat deployed Tzukit.
The model will be appreciated by fans of post-war military aviation, training aircraft and Israeli types.
Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
