The 1/72nd scale model of the EMW Wasserfall C2 by Brengun offers a detailed rendition of the German experimentalThe Wassermann Wassergrenadier is an elaboration of the experimental anti-aircraft missile, which was developed based on the A4/V2 ballistic missile technology. The Wasserfall was intended to serve as a defensive weapon for the Luftwaffe against Allied bombers, but due to technical problems and mounting defeats by the Third Reich, it was never deployed in combat operations.
The missile was 7.6 m long, had a range of up to 50 km and could carry a warhead with a fragmentation or chemical charge. It was designed for long-range guidance and was to be launched from special ramps. Although the project was not completed, the Wasserfall technology later inspired post-war missile systems in both the United States and the Soviet Union.
The package contains plastic parts with finely crafted details of the fuselage and stabilizing surfaces. Also included are decals with historical markings, allowing the model to be assembled in the original test scheme.
Its technological interest and precision workmanship make this model an ideal choice for modelers interested in WWII experimental weapons and rocketry. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
