The Reggiane Re.2000 Falco was one of the most advanced fighter aircraft of the Italian Air Force at the beginning of World War II. The GA (Grande Autonomia) and Serie III versions. were improved versions with extended range and design modifications that allowed them to beto be deployed on long escort flights, maritime reconnaissance and operations in North Africa and over the Mediterranean.
The Re.2000 aircraft had good flight characteristics, but their deployment was limited by political and technical constraints. Nevertheless, they gained recognition in Italy and among foreign users, such as Sweden and Hungary.
