1/48 Piper J-3 Cub „Over Europe“- Sabre Kits
Plastic kit from the production of the SabreKits company in 1/48 scale
The Piper Cub was a multi-purpose aircraft that became a legend in the aviation industry. Its first prototype took off in 1930 and was originally a civilian machine. However, its parameters were so good that the US military began to use it. During World War II, it served as a courier, observation, liaison, ambulance, training and transport aircraft. In addition to the classic wheeled chassis, he could have skis or floats installed. His popularity is evidenced by his nickname "flying Jeep", which the aircraft earned. After the end of World War II, the machines were further manufactured for both civilian and military purposes.
