1/48 Lockheed P-38J Lightning
Lockheed P-38 Lightning byl jednomístný dvoumotorový stíhací a stíhací-bombardovací letoun, který patřil k nejlepším spojeneckým bojovým strojům z období 2. světové války. Byl nasazován v bojích v Evropě i Tichém oceánu. Němci jej přezdívali dvouocasý ďábel. Prototyp letounu poprvé vzlétl pod označením XP-38 27. ledna 1939, ale již 11. února byl zničen při havárii. Přesto bylo armádním letectvem u společnosti Lockheed objednáno 13 předsériových YP-38, které byly vyráběny do března 1941. V srpnu 1941 započala šestatřiceti kusová dodávka verze P-38D. Vznikla celá řada nejrůznějších verzí tohoto stroje.

Exhaustive studies of actual P-38 aircraft enabled this precise recreation of the twin boom aircraft in detailed 1/48 scale. Choose whether to assemble as a P-38F or P-38G. Weights are included to give the model proper balance. The kit comes with a figure, two marking options, and a color painting guide.
You can choose open or closed canopy, with the P-38F's opening sideways and that of the P-38G rearwards. Masking stickers are included for the paint job. The tailplane and engine turbochargers feature superb detail, as well as the busy cockpit area.
