The USV-BR 76.2 mm field gun was developed as an artillery support for the Red Army at the beginning of World War II. The 1941 model was characterized by its simple design, reliability and solid firepower. It was widely deployed against infantry, light armoured vehicles and in the destruction of fortifications. In conjunction with a two-wheeled limber, it could be pulled by horses or vehicles and moved quickly to the front line.
