The Tiran 4 was an Israeli rebuild of the Soviet T-54 tank, which came into Israel's arsenal as spoils from conflicts with Arab states, especially after the Six-Day War. The Late Type version included advanced modifications such as new boxes, canister holders, Israeli radios, modified machine guns and other accessories adapted for service in the Israeli army. The Tiran 4 tanks were deployed during the Lebanon War and on patrol missions, for example.
