1/35 T-55A POLISH PRODUCTION
The T-55A Polish Production 1/35th scale model by MiniArt is a licensed version of the Soviet T-55A medium tank produced in Poland. The kit contains detailed plastic parts including interior, engine compartment and armament. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The T-55A was a modernized version of the Soviet T-55 tank, introduced into service in the 1960s and produced, among other things, in Poland. The Polish version differed slightly from the Soviet original in production details, paint, welds and equipment. The tank was equipped with a filter for protection against nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, an improved targeting system and a new type of internal protection.
Polish T-55As were part of the armament of the Warsaw Pact and some non-European states and served in various conflicts until the end of the 20th century.
The MiniArt 1/35 T-55A Polish Production model is an extremely detailed kit with a complete interior including the fighting compartment, driver's station, turret, engine section and internal armament. The model also includes minor production differences typical of the Polish version of the tank. There is also a number of accessories and optional details for an authentic finish.
