1/35 SU-122-54 Late Type
MiniArt's 1/35th scale model of the SU-122-54 Late Type is a Soviet post-war self-propelled gun based on the T-54 tank chassis. The kit contains detailed plastic parts including complete interior, armament and engine parts. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The SU-122-54 was a self-propelled gun developed in the 1950s in the Soviet Union based on the T-54 tank. It was armed with a 122 mm D-49 cannon and designed primarily to destroy fortifications and armoured vehicles. The Late Type version differed from the early series by minor design modifications, simplification of production and equipment upgrades. Although the SU-122-54 was replaced relatively early by more effective types, its powerful armament and low profile made it an effective support vehicle.
The MiniArt 1/35 SU-122-54 Late Type offers an extremely elaborate kit with a fully rendered interior including the fighting compartment, crew station, ammunition and engine compartment. Detailed mouldings capture realistic surface texture, welds, optics and small details such as tools and external equipment.
The kit is ideal for experienced modelers and fans of Soviet post-war armor and Cold War era self-propelled guns.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
