1/35 Stug.III 0-Series
The 1/35th scale model of the Sturmgeschütz III 0-Series by MiniArt represents the first prototype series of the German Sturmgeschütz III self-propelled gun from the pre- and early WWII era. The kit includes detailed plastic parts, fully detailed interior and engine compartment. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The StuG. III (Sturmgeschütz III) was one of the most successful and widespread self-propelled guns of the German Army during World War II. The 0-Series version represents the very beginning of the development of this vehicle - it was built in 1937 as a prototype series of ten units on the chassis of the Panzer III Ausf. B. These machines were used to test the concept of an assault gun designed to provide fire support for infantry.
The StuG III 0-Series had a low silhouette, closed superstructure and a 75mm gun, making it different from conventional tanks. In actual deployment, these machines were mainly used for training purposes and crew training.
The MiniArt 1/35 StuG. III 0-Series offers a fully rendered interior, including the battlefield, driving compartment, ventilation system and engine compartment. With its authentic design and many small details, it is the ideal model for advanced modellers interested in the early days of German armour and the development of the self-propelled gun line.
The kit is suitable for stand-alone display and as part of dioramas from the period before the outbreak of war or from the first campaigns in 1939-1940.
The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
