The Panzerkampfwagen 35(t) was originally produced in Czechoslovakia as the LT vz. 35, a light tank introduced into the armament of the Czechoslovak Army. It was introduced to the army in the second half of the 1930s. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, it was incorporated into the armament of the German army under the designation Pz.Kpfw. 35(t), with the letter "t" indicating the original Czechoslovak origin(tschechisch).
The tank was characterized by high quality suspension, good mobility and a reliable engine. It was deployed during the campaigns to Poland, France and the Soviet Union, although its armament and armouring gradually became obsolete. Nevertheless, the Pz. 35(t) was valued for its technical level and remained in service until 1942, when it was replaced by more modern types.
The Special Hobby 1/35 Pz.Kpfw. 35(t) kit features a detailed model with realistic surface texture, moving tracks, undercarriage and turret. It is ideal for modelers interested in pre-war Czechoslovakian technology and the early period of World War II.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
