1/32 Bloch MB 152C.1
The Bloch MB.152C.1 1/32 scale model by Special Hobby is a French fighter aircraft from the beginning of WWII, which took part in the German invasion in 1940. The kit features detailed plastic parts, cockpit, armament and decals for various Armée de l'Air machines. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Bloch MB.152C.1 was a French single-seat fighter aircraft developed in the late 1930s as part of the modernisation of the Armée de l'Air. The aircraft was of all-metal construction, equipped with a Gnome-Rhône radial engine and twin cannons in the wings. It was deployed during the Battle of France in 1940, where it faced the vastly superior German Luftwaffe.
Although the MB.152 suffered from shortcomings in range and climbability, in the hands of experienced pilots it proved effective and played an important role in the short but intense campaign. It was deployed in several squadrons of the French Air Force, and some of the machines made it into the armament of Vichy France.
The Special Hobby 1/32 Bloch MB.152C.1 kit offers a large model with detailed interior, surface texture, landing gear and armament. Included are decals for multiple versions of the French Air Force from the May and June 1940 period. The 1/32 scale makes the model stand out as a stand-alone display piece.
The model is suitable for modelers interested in lesser known WWII aircraft, especially from the early stages of the conflict.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
