1/144 R.A.F VICTOR K.2 Tanker
This 1/144 scale model of the Handley Page Victor K.2 by Great Wall Hobby (GWH) is a British tanker aircraft that served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) during the Cold War. The kit contains detailed plastic parts to assemble the aircraft, including a realistic cockpit, landing gear ducts and refuelling equipment. Also included are decals for several versions of RAF camouflage. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Handley Page Victor was the third and last of the British "V-bombers" developed during the Cold War as part of the UK's nuclear deterrent arsenal. The Victor K.2 version was converted from the original strategic bombers to in-flight refuelling aircraft. These aircraft played a key role during conflicts such as the Falklands War and the Gulf War, supporting other RAF aircraft on long missions.
GWH 's 1/144 scale Victor K.2 kit offers modellers the opportunity to build a detailed replica of this important aircraft. The package includes plastic parts with a precision-machined cockpit, landing gear shafts and refuelling equipment. The model also includes detailed surface panels and other fine details that contribute to the authenticity of the model.
The kit also includes decals for several versions of RAF camouflage, including those used during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
The high level of detail and precision craftsmanship make this kit ideal for modellers with an interest in British Cold War aircraft. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
