1/72 SIAI SF-260TP „Light Attacker“

The 1/72 scale model of SIAI SF-260TP "Light Attacker" by Kovozávody Prostějov (KPM) offers precise processing of the turboprop version of the Italian SIAI-Marchetti SF.260, which was designed in the 1960s as a trainer and light attack machine. The SF-260TP version was equipped with an Allison Model 250 turboprop engine and first flew in 1980. The aircraft was widely used for pilot training and light attack missions in various air forces around the world.

This particular edition allows modelers to build the aircraft in four different markings:

1. Haitian Air Force (Corps d'Aviation d'Haïti), machine 1274: The aircraft served in the Haitian Air Force for training and light attack operations.

2. Sri Lanka Air Force, machine CT131: The Sri Lankan Air Force used the SF-260TP during the conflicts with the Tamil Tigers for close air support.

3. Philippine Air Force, machine 29 06: The Philippine Air Force deployed these aircraft for counterinsurgency operations and pilot training.
