The Fiat G.50B Bicomando, introduced in 1940, was a two-seat variant of the famous Italian fighter aircraft Fiat G.50 Freccia. This version was specially modified for pilot training and offered a tandem cockpit layout, which allowed effective training of new pilots under the guidance of experienced instructors. The aircraft retained the excellent flight characteristics of its fighter predecessor, including its rugged construction and reliability. The Fiat G.50B was deployed primarily in the training units of the Italian Royal Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) and contributed to the development of the skills of many Italian pilots during World War II.
Special Hobby's 1/32 scale model faithfully reproduces all the distinctive features of this two-seat variant, including the detailed cockpit and authentic armament and paintwork. It is ideal for modelers who appreciate the less common but important WWII era aircraft.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed to assemble the model.
